United Methodist Women
The United Methodist Women, an international organization, originated in 1869 when eight Boston women formed the Women’s Foreign Missionary Society to meet the needs of women and children. Today, more than one million women are involved in this vital organization. Our church’s UMW group is a vibrant collection of individuals of all ages dedicated to improving the lives of women and children through ongoing mission projects on a local, national and global level.
In addition, meeting as various “circle” groups, women gather for Bible study, fellowship and service to our community. Visit Website

WOMEN'S GROUP MEETINGS

Hannah Circle
Meets on the first Wednesday of the month from 9:30 – 11:30am in the church library. Hannah Circle is geared towards women with young children. Child care is provided for the meetings.

Martha Circle
Meets on the fourth Wednesday of the month in the homes of the participants. Martha Circle is geared toward our active seniors.

Susannah Circle
Meets in the evening on the third Wednesday of each month in various locations. The Susannah Circle is for working women or those who find it hard to meet during the day.

Crafter’s Circle
The Crafters Circle incorporates any type of craft including scrapbooking, knitting, jewelry, card stamping and whatever project circle members are working on and wish to introduce to the group. There are no dues, no dress code, no attendance requirements, just good fellowship.  

The circle meets on the first Monday evening of the month at 7:00 p.m. and the third Thursday morning at 9:30 a.m. This schedule affords those who work a chance to be part of at least one of the group sessions.

UMW Giant Tag Sale
Each Spring the UMW sponsors a two day giant tag sale at the church. There are far reaching benefits of this charitable event. The proceeds from the sale of donated items and baked goods go to charities that directly benefit women and children.
